Kaoru Mitoma opened the scoring for Brighton in the 65th minute, with Evan Ferguson doubling their lead 12 minutes later. Arsenal battled back, and were able to pull a goal back in the 71st minute, when Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net. However, it was not enough to secure a point, as Brighton emerged victorious.

Man of the Match

The Man of the Match for Brighton’s match against Arsenal in Week 18 of the 2022 EPL season goes to Kaoru Mitoma for his outstanding performance. The Japanese midfielder scored the only goal of the game in the 65th minute, securing the win for Brighton. His leadership and creativity throughout the match were key to the team’s victory and earned him the title of Man of the Match.
